I was thinking about purchasing an Automatic Eagle Talon Tsi AWD, and i was wondering if it was hard to convert it to manual. All i can think of is new - tranny, pedals, and i cant really think of anything else. THANKS! PLEASE REPLY!

I'm pretty shure that the crank is diffrent on an automatic. but if not you need a manual fly wheel, pilot bearing, pressure plate, clutch plate, clutch master cylinder, break line, slave sylender, clutch pedal. i think thats it. good luck

Dont bother trying, you have put the peddles in, brackets, its not worth the time, i was going to do it, but the shop said it would be in exeesses of 5400, including the new tranny, its not worth it.

I dont know if this helps, but this site (www.naganojapanese.com) is selling a 2.0 DOHC 4G63 Eclipse motor for about $550 i believe it comes with a manual transmission, you can just get the transmission and do whatever you want with the motor (I could buy it off you). Also, regarding your current motor, you also need to get a manual tansmission's ECU. The reason for this is my friend had a 1994 Civic DX, and he got a manual transmission for it, he hooked it up and everything but it just wouldn't run right. He went to a shop and they told him he needed to swap the ECU out too.
