just out of curiousities sake. i was wondering if anyone had a pic of an s13 coupe using the s14 kouki front end (s13.5 coupe??)? this my seem like a ricey thing to ask but the sharper angles on the kouki front would probably look real good with the s13 rear. just day-dreamin about what to do body work-wise with my car next year after the engine swap.

i used to have one, can't seem to find it now :(

and no it isn't ricey, because everyone thinks the s13>s15 conversion kicks ass, so why not s13>14 ... that would be stupid if someone said it was ricey...

Depends on the forum... I think people here think S13>S15 is ricey actually. I remember reading something like "it looks nasty, the lines don't even match up" -- "why would you want to change the look of a perfectly fine car?" -- "if you don't like the look of your car, why did you get it? just import an S15 because with the money you spend on fab, you might as well get the rest of the car" -- "that conversion is played out" -- "it's ugly, nobody wants it, thats why its hard to find places with parts to do the conversion... don't even bother"
(Just some things I've read in past discussions on this topic...)

I forget if all that rambling was from here... maybe it was a different forum lol.. forgive me if it was! There was a recent poll about which Sil-conversion people liked the most and S13 won as the most appropriate. Personally, S15/S14 would look just as great to me also. There isn't much respect on showcars here so careful what you say guys...

well i personally prefer the silvia conversion over any of them... but you shouldn't knock someone if they are doing a nissan-family conversion, thats just petty, now if you do the conversion, and you put some wheels on it and lower it, but have no power, then thats kind of ricey.

i have wheels and lowered but power is coming soon so its all good ;)

Exactly! Nothing like looking good and smokin someone at the same time... just let them have a glimpse just long enough to see what just walked all over them! :cwm27:

I don't think the S-15 looks ricey or is very played out, because in all of sacramento i've only seen one thats local...not at a show...some guy at Consumnes River College drives a White 94-98 240sx with a s15 front end conversion. It looks real nice...don't bash on me because I have a honda accord family sedan....thats all my parents would buy for me....cuz they know I like to race..so they bought that crap..i still race though....if you look in my other threads i've posted that i'm gettin another car...with my money...so please don't bash....i've known about 240s forever...but was too young to buy one...simply put

and the reason i'm in this section is...because I'm considering a 97-98 240sx...and no i'm not jumping on the bandwagon...i just got my license (not even 2 years yet) and finally, after 4 years of working, i raised enough money to buy myself a car.

thanks for agreeing with me on this one. i think the s14 kouki (97-98) front on and s13 coupe would look perfect. look at the lines on the front of the 98 s14. it uses sharp angls, much like the rear on the s13 coupe. i think i will go for this particular look. i'll just slowly start gettin the pieces together before summer. i alreadt sold the s13 projectors (round style) i had bought.

Well i have one question about the S15 conversion...I saw the price of the parts...you all know the parts...it came to be around $2500-3000 depending on the shipping and the people who you get it from...plus the labor....my guess $1500-2000...

I'll count the highest number...$3000parts + $2000labor...that means the conversion costs $5000 give or take some amount...did I estimate that correctly...Damn that's pretty expensive

jesus... and thats just for the front-end conversion? not the motor swap or interior changes? Thats nutty, man, too rich for my blood.

I Do think it would look cool though!

Stray....that makes 2 who think that costs too much....I love the look but i'd rather spend 5grand on tuning the engine...or gettin another one....for me its power before show...may be after the whole engine is tuned then go for the look...so you can kick some ass while looking good.

But i'm still not sure if it really does cost that much.
