I agree with you to a point. There are a ton of stupid people on this forum, but they are here to learn. Probably about 50-75% of the members on this site have less than 10 posts because some of the first stuff they said people yelled at them so they quit posting.

Techniqully, they are. In real life, maybe not, but on this site, they have a lot more power then us. There may be a mod or two I dont like on here because they abuse their power and do act like they are better than everyone, but I just ignor them. Sometimes I wish I could speak my mind out, but I dont want to get banned. I would go cry.

I agree with you to a point. There are a ton of stupid people on this forum, but they are here to learn. Probably about 50-75% of the members on this site have less than 10 posts because some of the first stuff they said people yelled at them so they quit posting.

2. Threads about post counts take up bandwidth, if bandwidth is used up for all kinds of shit like post-count threads, there would be more than one new server to get every so often, which means more money from Igor to supply AF with another server. Not only that, they just create clutter among the forums.
3. As Dayna said, people are here to learn, stupid or not. Not everyone is going to smart to you, but you cant just dub them an Idiot for one small mistake, there may be other things they have to offer.
4. Moderators are moderators for a reason: to keep things in order and make sure things dont get out of hand. They are above you and I on the boards because they (also said by Dayna) have more powers than you an I.
5. Word of advice: Dont be a smartass because you think Moderators all have attitudes and are out to get people "trying to have a good time" . Getting banned occurs for a reason if it does at all. If you get banned, you probably did something you shouldnt have, in which case you can talk to someone to find out, or email Igor to find out what's goin on.
6. This forum is good. This is probably the best web forum I have visited. The moderators do their jobs great without being nazi's about anything, flaming is kept on a real low basis, and it's almost as though it's a big family here. Just because you havent enjoyed your experience doesnt give you any right to spout libel (written form of slander) about AF.

I get on AF to avoid people like you. Sure, some of our members are a little overzealous, but this community tends to be pretty addictive. As long as the moderators do their job and weed out people like you these forums will remain a very attractive place to spend time and converse.
What kind of problem do you have with the mods anyway? They're usually pretty forgiving of language and they're not exactly your enemy. I get on AF to avoid people like you. Sure, some of our members are a little overzealous, but this community tends to be pretty addictive. As long as the moderators do their job and weed out people like you these forums will remain a very attractive place to spend time and converse.
What kind of problem do you have with the mods anyway? They're usually pretty forgiving of language and they're not exactly your enemy. people can curse. when it's cursing in a certain way AT a member, it's a warn-able offense. if i responded to a member's post, and said "hahaha, you're fuckin' lucky". then that's fine. if i responded to a member's post and said "fuck you, you turkey fucking cock-washer". then that's a warn-able or even straight-out bannable offense.

in short, go start your own forum where you can make post-count threads, swear all you want etc. and see how many people join it.
