First off, if its real serious I'd maybe go see a doctor. But we can't help if we don't know whats bothering you. Is there something in particular thats bothering you? I'd like to help you but I don't know whats bothering you or worrying you.

The best thing to do first is know that you have depression and be able to say so. That's the first step in helping yourself. There is nothing wrong with saying you are depressed either, there are a lot of people in the United States who suffer from it and anyone who says it's a cop out needs to shut the hell up. There are a lot of things availiable nowadays for depression in the way of medication, as well as relaxation techniques. You should probably tell your parents and have them schedule you an appointment with a physician if you think you are depressed. One of the better things to get stuff off your mind is also just to talk to someone and get it off your chest and put your mind at ease. Hope Ive helped a little.

I also recommend taking this stuff called St. Johns Wart. Its a mood enhancer. I take it from time to time when I get down and it helps. Its suppose to be all natural. My mom gets depressed sometimes and this is what she started taking to help her.

Step 1: Get off of internet, get out of house, and meet new people.

Step 2: Go do something fun that you've never done before.

Step 3: Try to forget everything that led up to your depression and start fresh.

Step 4: If you can't help yourself, get a doctor. But don't take prescription pills cause they just hurt you in the long run.

Good luck.

try dressing in bright colors, you'd be surprised what this'll do to lift your mood (a yellow or orange shirt) because simply being around bright colors makes one feel good - for instance even after the worst day, a couple of minutes on the way home in my bright yellow Toyota has never failed to make me feel better.
If you have a fun hobby, maybe you should spend more time doing it - or you could always get some friends together and do something, like race go-carts, or maybe fly model airplanes - whatever "floats your boat"

EDIT: P.S. - don't take pills, except as a very last resort!

what do you do if your reason for depression lives 100 feet down the hall and shares a class with you? :(

You realize that you're mature enough not to be beholding to someone who doesn't share your feelings. You come to the conclusion that what this person thinks is not the most important thing in your life. You find that you have friends who want to help if you let them. And, someday, you'll see that there is someone better out there for you.

Steel, Im thinkin maybe it's time that you let this go... Not to sound like an ass or anything, but you need to move on. I understand how it may bother you her being so close, but there obviously wasnt a connection or this point in time would be.

I think the depression feeling comes from not having enough freedom or feeling like you have nowhere to go in life and not having motivation for anything, just my 2 cents.
