Sponsorship Questions

Just asking these questions because this is one of the many things I think about...constantly. I'm not ready to be sponsored, but I just think about these different things.
1.Who would turn down a sponsor and why? Beause you don't want to sticker your car up with sponsors...you don't want to represent a certain company...you don't want to be obligated to a company...these are different reasons I could see people using
2.If you could be sponsored by any company, who would it be? Just talking about manufactuers...example; Sparco, Wings West, 5Zigen etc
3.If you could be sponsored for one product, what would it be?

I would turn down a sponsor that is trying to take over the car tell you what to do to the car and what to put on it.

I agree with both of you guys...I don't see anything wrong with putting a sticker on, but if they want you to go all crazy with sticker, then naw...
Hey if you get that Alpine sponsor, hook a buddy up:biggrin:

Yeah I had an Alpine deck in my truck back in high school and I really liked it. I don't know if I would go full Alpine, but I'd definitely go with them for a headunit:smile:

I actually had Infinite reference speakers in my truck too...it's been awhile but if I can remember correctly, I was really happy with what I had at the time...just the deck and the two 6x9s

I think we could all use some free stuff:smile:
IMO, sponsorships are for people with a lot of money that just don't want to spend it.

hahah well put man :bigthumb:
i dont necceserally want free stuff, but with a big sponser you get more coverage and the more coverage you get the more sponsers you get, so it is just a chain of goodness

when you get your car, let me know...there's a well known shop down in LA that might help you out...I heard from this one guy at a HIN in San Mateo that...he hit this shop up and told them his ideas for his car...I'm assuming he sent in a proposal so it was pretty professional I'm sure...I don't think he had anything done to his car though and I guess they sponsored him.
When it comes to motorsports shops, I think this one has A LOT of pull in the import scene so they can get you some good stuff.
I just finished my proposal for this place in the bay area. I was going to mail it in, but I'm going to hand deliver it to make. Might not make a better impression, but atleast it will help build better rapport.
