Do my tires need to be balanced?

I have two set of tires. One all season tire set and one winter tire set, all of them with rams. Tires were purchased from GZ6RUBBER and rams from Canadian Tires. I have been using both sets for almost 5 years and never had them to be balanced. What my concern is should I get all my tires balanced now or in the future? What are the advantages or disadvantages for balancing tires?
PS. I have never had a flat tire or tire issue.

In theory, once a tire is balanced it doesn't need to be rebalanced.

However, tires don't always wear evenly and they not only may go out of balance, but they may also also go out of round (which rebalance won't fix). The best way to tell if you need to do something is vibrations. Lack of vibrations means no need to do anything.

In theory you're absolutely right... but in reality, sometimes (not often) wheel weights fall off and when they do, it calls for a rebalancing.
