What is everyones agenda for the 4th of july weekend? I am planning on hitting some parties...I dont know about the rest of you guys

Being an Amercian living in New Zealand I am working but will celebrate in my mind :cool:

My mom and her new husband (my new daddy :D ) plan on having a BBQ in the afternoon. Then we're gonna go catch a 6:00 movie and by the times its out fireworks will be underway across the street from the theater :cool:

being a 'professional college student' with the summer off...and the hubby got a great deal at work...a FOUR day weekend...wohoo!!!, we're going to take the firebird to the upholster and become officially broke...wohoo!!!
then, we're going to borrow my moms car, and head out to a friends house where we will do absolutely nothing...the rest of the weekend...is going to be spent at home...

i dont know my popz drives i'll find out for you tho.. i think its somewhere around there.. itz usually dead in upstate nyc lotz of farm land and really old houses nuthin much to do there..

Well being a Canuck, I will end up drinking on the 4th mainly b/c it's a Friday but tomorrow I'll be Celebrating Canada Day with beer beer and more beer.

Thursday- My band is playing at the Battle of the Bands in the Madison Regatta.
Friday- We play in the Music in the Park for the City park
Saturday- Get really, really drunk.
Sunday- Recover.

do i have an agenda.....not really, but i'm pretty sure that me and my g/f are goin in to green bay and wacthing the fireworks

Wednesday: Woo woo last day of school!
Thursday: Goin to the junkyard with my buddy and puttin some shit on his girls 91 dx sedan .... that night gonna go watch the july 3 fireworks at teh country club and get FADED
Friday: Goin downhill mtn biking at northstar and then comin home ... hittin a house party and getting faded again
Saturday: 707imports grad party out on the russian river ... im probably drivin to that shit though so no gettin faded

Then I leave july 8 to go on vacation and mountain bike for 1 1/2 weeks and then be back the 20th or so :icon16: :bigthumb:

My 4th/5th are as follows...

Day 1, the 4th of July: Torture

Me and the gal have voluntarily offered to let the kiddo have a friend over for the day/night. We must be insane, because we are going to take two 5 yo girls out for 'fun' all day (rollerskating, bowling, swiming, eating, etc) and to see the fireworks that night. Please let them be exhausted and fall asleep easily.

Day 2, the 5th of July: Unwind

We are then throwing an adult cookout (no kiddies, yea!) and going to eat, drink and swim. It's our payment for giving the kiddies the day on friday.

Nothing too exciting but the big people party should be fun. :)

I was going to go to the statium of fire here in Utah, but it turns out that my new car is going to be dilivered tomorrow, so I guess that is what I'm doing. Maybe I'll light of some of my own fire works.

I actually might be going to the Stadium of Fire, last year I had executive seats because my friends dad was one of the sponsors. If that doesn't work out I'll still probably light stuff on fire.

July 4th means nothing here, but July 1st (Canada day), there were zillions of people at Wasaga Beach (longest freshwater beach in the world, on one of the Great Lakes) just 20 minutes from here. Topless chicks galore :D

Hmm, lighting things on fire you say, I think I might do that. I went to buy fireworks today and I can't buy mortar shells, roman candles, or bottle rockets?!?!? I'll just have to make a trip to Wyoming after the 4th and get some of the good stuff.

Yeah, but, my car didn't come on Friday. I have to wait until next week. I ended up going to the stadium of fire and didn't get to light off the explosives I bought. I guess I'll buy some more and light them off on the 24th. :biggrin:
