What vehicle is this part off

I know it is a 17mm Dia. steering shaft C/W welded on universal joints. I also know it was a 'factory' part, but my aging brain has forgotten vehicle what it came off. I have this vague memory of it being out of a 4WD/SUV.
It forms part of my steering on my '32 Roadster and I need to replace it. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I'd suggest taking it to a local auto parts old school car meet, if not ask a local used car salesman (I know it sounds weird, but, they have seen enough vehicles and parts).
