Hey all!

Looking for info about repairing a pinhole in my leather seat. Basically looking for advice on a good kit to use to repair the hole. And yes, it is small just like a pinhole, perfectly round. I looked at some kits online, but of course they all say how great they are. One reply even talked of the speed needed to get the repair media onto the leather.
So, any referrals will be greatly appreciated. Never had leather seats before, and the Impala I just got has a nice little pinhole in it.
Give me your pros and cons to any kit you may have used.
Many thanks all!

I have used super glue it is at home depot. this is a heavy type fast setting adhesive that is a thicker mixture and clear . I have used this were the set belt can rip the soft leather. then with a leather dye , dye the repair area ...if necessary. leather technologies in VA has this water based dye. it is a coating much like latex paint.

I dyed my 1996 dash about 10 years ago . still looks great impala ss ...gray dash was turning brown !

I'd rather just leave it alone till it's completely ripped and buy a new seat or have it reupholstered.

It is you choice but I would not ignore any rips or holes. my 1996 impala leather seats still look like new.

my experience with all this is part issues .. good luck
when you need to replace these covers. they will not match !

A few years ago, my dog managed to put a 2 inch slit in the leather seat of my car. I called the dealer and got the name of the repair guy they used. He fixed the seat perfectly, and, it cost me $100. There's no way I could have fixed it like he did.
