2000 DX -> 1990 Si question

Will an 00 D16 tranny/clutch fit on a 90 Si block? The 90 Si is a sohc non-vtec... My engine blew, and his tranny blew. I'm getting a b16b and he needs a new tranny. I told him I'd give him mine if it fits.

I'm "pretty sure" it would. The only problem I see would be the cable to hydro conversion.

Nevermind, I found a tranny for him at a junkyard for $300. Thanks for the help though.

While I'm on this topic, will all these other parts fit his engine?
