Question for the ladies....

What would you think if you saw a guy driving a car with pink interior? Not full interior or anything, but like, a pink dash kit or something. I wanted to do something original, and everyone's got CF, blue, or red...and what can I say, I like pink. So...opinions?

If you put cute lil butterflies and fairies, it would look soooo adorable. Seriously though, are you talking... light pink, or hot pink? Hot pink would be more manly I guess if you are worried about that, or you could do Tiger or Leopard print in hot pink... now that would be original :iceslolan

Actually, My personal opionon - I don't think I'd like it that much, But being I think pink is for girls - You never know it might come out rather cool..

I despise pink. There are other colors out there. I know what you mean about being original, but I'd try to find something other than pink. Sorry. :o

you know girls might find it cute of what not but i'll tell you now....all your guy friends will make fun of you till the end of time....and i'm not exagerating.....so unless you want to put up with that stay away from pink....

if i were you, i'd try to steer away from pink - i mean a pink interior would be hot...but i'm a girl. I just think you might get hassled from some guys about a pink interior thats all. but hey if thats ok with you then go for it :)

I agree w/ the others who are anti-pink. I don't even like pink and I'm a girl. Try green or orange. It's hard to be original these days because there is a lot of stuff made for blue, red, white, CF, so on. But I wish you luck!

The interior of my car is pink, except for the dash. I dont think a guy that has a pink interior in his car will get too many good comments. My husband drove my VW Beetle to work one day and people asked him if it was his car, because they were "worried" about him. LOL But who cares what others think about your car.... IT'S YOURS and you bought it with your money. If you want pink in your car, get it. The haters can hush.

Your taste don't match your name. I think you should lay off on the pink, try a darker, more serious color. What you do is up to you, but you're definately gonna be laughed at.

Why not try to get creative with a combination of colors? I don't think many people will be feeling the pink. What about orange, or Orange and blue, or I don't know, but it's your car so enjoy...

I think it's cool for you to want to be original..but I think PINK is strictly for the females. I'm sure there are many other original colors out there...but if you're gonna do that, I sure hope you don't regret it cuz you can count on guys giving you crap. :). I think you should do it, its hard to be original nowadays. It just goes to show that you're comfortable with yourself if you get a pink interior, and others that are uncomfortable about themselves and feel they have to make fun of you to fit in.. well i just feel sorry for them.

OK, I don't want to say what everyone else is sayng about pink, so I won't, I'll just say that I agree with them. If you use pink, you HAVE to do it right. It can't be JUST pink. There has to be something creative about how you do it. Use other colors WITH the pink. Create a design or logo that has pink but make it look good. Black with some pink in the design would probably look pretty good, but it all comes down to creativity. If you do the pink in your design and get props from GUYS & GIRLS, then you know you did well.

The minute someone takes one of their cars lightly would be an instant before they got owned by that very same car. :grinno:

I'm a big fan of Yashio's very popular S15 you posted above. Pink cars always seem to be fast and great handlers for some reason, think about that one people. ;)

I think that it really doesn't matter that the car is pink. It's fast because of the tuning, the motor, the turbo setup, etc...not cause it's pink. A color doesn't make a car fast, the car would be the same speed if it was blue instead of pink. I think the reason pink cars seem to be fast and handle is simple...no one is going to paint a car pink and have no performance from the motor to back it up. Pink is sure to get attetnion and comments, both wanted and not. So it would seem the ones that are painted pink can back it up under the hood. Though they'd still be the same, like I said, even if it were blue. That's my thought on this comment...lol

Well, pink is an attention grabber and is sure to creat conversion. That's probably part of the reason it is used I would think, that it is an out of the ordinary attention grabbing color.

I plan on doing a pink pearl..and the way I saw it, I only planned on that after I knew I would have a motor to back it up..so people won't hate on it for lookin good and just being a "girlie car." Really though, I think we all agree that it's your car and you should do whatever you like, we're just tellin you, don't be surprised when you get harrassed.

i dont think you have to feel insicure or however you spell that to think that pink is gay, pink just looks feminine, i wouldn't do it unless you did something creative with it. maybe a pinkish redish kinda color, try something thats not actually called a color, know what i mean. or what about peach or something, i don't know i'd have to see you car.

look if you have the attitude to back it up a pink and black interior with a black and/or pink exterior is not at all feminine its friggin' PUNK, rough excecution (intentionally rough) would be a big plus with that look(i.e.bare metal floors with black and pink paint in an odd patter almost a graffiti look. use it aas a tsteful accent to black with additional accents in a blue, be careful though it can't be too serious it has to be in clear goofy defiance

Pink is an awesome color, I think you should do it, but just for you info, you will get hasseled by all your guy friends for having pink in your car. Maybe not though, depending on who your friends are. Try it and if it turns out bad, then you will at least know.
