Hi im new here checked a bunch of posts could find much on the throttle body I have a 93Chev 1500 2wd 5.7 320000km when I drive on highway it drives along good when I get to slower speeds is seems to studder I have to push gas pedal to push it threw I bought some throttle body cleaner and I noticed that when I sprayed around the bottom of throttle body it almost stalls it could this be the reason why I am getting the studder and is that the indication that I should replace the base of throttle body gasket ? I replaced the plugs and fuel filter cleaned iac motor
Thanks
Thanks

No. but it would be good idea to replace.
Any codes?
A lot of problem with worn dist. shaft bushings and gears caps and rotors and plug wires.

Well good news I unplugged EGR and it took that shudder away just a couple hiccups as I accelerate hard now but im thinking its cause I have hoses plugged off im sure that will go away once I replace the EGR
Thanks hope this one helps some one else

most EGR valves over 10yrs old develop weak springs. the EGR opens just alittle too much then you get a lean condition type engine loss of power. you also get poor MPG and much too low combustion chamber temps which leads to carbon and cat converter getting plugged up especially in cold weather. replace the EGR and if necessary check for restricted exhaust.
throttle body issues / IAC is with the idle speed. base gasket defective is also idle speed.
