Good drifting videos...

Anyone know of any good drifting videos? I see to many with import show coverage mixed in. All I want is just drifting.

there are some great videos to be found on kazaa. most of them are either short or have other things mixed in, but they're worth a look. just do a search for "drift" and you'll get plenty of good results.

or did you mean actual videos like on VHS or DVD? if that's what you meant i don't know what to tell ya. good luck.

I know i've heard of drift vids DVD/VHS mostly underground junk not sure where to get them but i'm happy with free stuff off the net.

I was looking through the Sunday paper last week and saw that Best Buy has some Drift Video they were advertising. I have no idea how good it will be.

I've heard of GRIP and it didn't seem half bad as so I've heard, but some of the good drifting videos all you have to do is go to Kazaa and type in drifting and theres bound to be some videos that come up.

actually GRIP Video is a very very good line of videos run by a couple of guys in Hawaii that i speak with on the internet, on occasion. they do cover alot of good stuff and are in the scene themselves, so it's a quality production.

i think that the best dvd drift videos are option videos, they might be hard to come by and pricey but i think its worth it.

have you seen the grip dvd?
i was most definitely not impressed.

very little actual driving worth watching, some shameless (and pointless) plugs for the sponsors... like " here's a ti exhaust... blah blah blah" for 10 minutes.

they "tested" the tommy kaira wrx with the head of motorex. they went to an atm, got on the freeway for a minute, went to a club, then spent 10 minutes with one of the crew being hammered, puking, passed out. then passin out in the car. not much info on the car.

i didn't really care for the dvd, and i feel it was a waste of my money.

i preferred mischief and mischief 3k...

I havea pretty good video clip I downloaded, its about 20 minutes long and sponsored by Advan or Falken. Goes through a couple drifters, shows their cars, they talk about their techniques, then it shows em tearing up the track.
has a couple S chassis cars, Soarer, couple Fd's. pretty decent.
couple cars from Drift Xtreme.

that video kicks so much ass. i just watched it again last night since i hadn't seen it in a couple of months. the sound alone of Takahiro Ueno's 470hp HKS Toyota Soarer (Lexus SC300 over here) was enough to make me wet my pants, but the rest of the video was just as good. drifting was awesome. i especially liked Masamoto in the DRFT FD3S RX-7.

The second song is by Thursday. They are a garage band fron NJ, but they are getting more and more popular. The name of the song is "understanding (in a car crash)". Another excellent song by them is "jet black new year". Hope that helps.

every Thursday song pretty much kicks ass. "Cross Out The Eyes" is my personal fave.

me and my bro were at a 240 meet and we herd about a race that was goin down and it was a honda civic vs my bros 240 (pop up lights) it was so funny trying to see the civic drifting anyway why the hell would you want to... so as a rear wheel drive car that my bro had he had no problem drifting this was on the street to so it was kinda freaky after that it was mark (friend) and dave (also friend) were drifting around the corner him and his turbo put it to 25 psi and blew right in front of mark but he still kept up the last turn they took mark clipped daves bumper and it spun dave right into a tree the whole front was smashed in and it was horrible man. dave the rich one as he is, he fixed the front back to normal but man it was freaky. if you have any good sites on drifting of anything like that tell me please
