what's a good HID retrofit?

How many of you use HID retrofits I'm trying to figure out what to put in my headlights. Currently considering the VVME brand. A lot of people I have talked to really likes their stuff. I want brightness but not glare. Some HID kits have little glare (me want). Some have a lot. Which ones are brightest without the glare in the 9007 size 8000 Kelvin? I would figure the bulb cover in the factory headlamps (2005) should control most of the glare shouldn't it?

While I'm thinking about it, dare I try the 55 watt kit? I want the output but HATE the glare from those Chevys with 80/100 halogens.
