Can anyone tell me how to grease the lower ball joints when the zerks do not extend out far enough to get the grease gun on? I had mine replaced at the dealership last and they have 11,000 miles on them. Also, one is mounted off center of the hole through which the zerks come up. This puts it too close to a bolt to get either my normal or my "straight" 90 grease tip on it.
Was the dealership just sloppy when they installed the ball joints?
Can they move over time?
What is the average lifespan on the upper and lower ball joints?
I will try to include photos.

You may need to use a "needle" fitting on your grease gun, it might fit in there. The grease fittings are pre-drilled in the ball joints, and where they sit when bolted in is where they are. They should not move unless the bolts come loose. The Blazers are horribe on lower ball joints. I would expect 50k miles on them.. Keeping them greased will extend the life.

Thanks for the reply. I'll check out the needle fitting for my grease gun. I want to keep these things greased.
