Vehicle passed 100k mile, noise starting. Apparently, this problem is very common with ford focus.

Driving on highway above 50mph, front end had noise which liked continuous drum beating. Turning wheel had slight shaking, your foot could feel the pounding sound's vibration. The noise was very loud, it was just humming sound in city drive, not forcible liked it was on highway. This noise is different from grinding sound, motor mount problem, because, motor doesn't shake noticeably. And it only appears about 30mph, and when speed reach above 50mph, it becomes really loud.

Using fordparts.com, front wheel bearing kit (1K018) x 2 for both side wheel hub, and CV Joint Half Shaft Bearing (3K093), which is main culprit for this annoy vibration and deafening sound. Drive shaft hold bearing is also called carrier bearing. it's located behind the motor oil pan. You should change passenger side wheel hub bearing with this drive shaft bearing at same time. You will need bearing press for replacing these bearing job.

Make sure these bearing come in newer date, there were bad batch of bearings around, cause lot of noise problems.
