Crunching metal, not very loud, but deafening when its you car being crunched!

Today I got sandwiched. No not my body, my car (the avatar). I was driving on the main strip on my local beach (the speed limit is 30 km) when the car in front of me came to a stop to let a pedestrian cross. Of course I also stopped. Next thing I know I am being propelled forward amid the noise of crumpling metal...I ram into the back of the Integra in front of me. When I make sense of what just happened, I realize that three girls in a Precidia behind me failed to notice I was stopping and decided they wouldn't follow suit. The force of the rear ender propelled me forward into the car in front of me. We pulled off the road where the driver of the Precidia says to me about my car, "hey is that one of those crappy cars... a sunbird or neon or something?". My blood is boiling. Turns out I had the last laugh, my car (with plastic bumpers) was hardly scratched, likewise with the Integra in front of me... The Precidia's bumper, however, is pushed into their engine...NOW TELL ME WHOS CAR IS CRAPPY HUN? Hah. I am deciding whether or not to claim insurance, my bumper is slightly dented, and it did get pushed away from the body panels where it is supposed to meet flush. I also bent my rad support. I can fix it myself, but should I? I mean, the girls pissed me off.

Well, I don't know what the law is there, but here the girls would be at fault since they hit you from behind...I say go for it.

Shoulda called the cops right then and filed a report. Always, always get a report at the scene if you can. YES you should file a claim. The rear-ender is almost ALWAYS at fault, not the rear-endee.

W3RD it's free money, and her insurance goes up as well!!!!! :D That way she won't be driving a "good" car anymore, and you can say to her hey aren't you driving a crappy car now, because you are a fucking moron!?!?!?

Is it just me, or is that really one of the stupidest things somebody could say after rear ending you, I probably would've responded with "It is now, thanks to your crappy car."

File a claim, when you're rear-ended it's the person's fault who ran into you, not yours, give her an insurance hike for being such an idiot.

Yup, claim it... maybe put a few extra scratches on for effect. JOKING!!!!! I do not endorse insurance fraud, but I do endorse you getting her insurance to pay for what her stupid car did.
