Hey guys... been a while since I've completed a model so I picked this one up as an easy OOB build.

Color scheme I'm going:
Exterior- Yellow/ flat white soft top
Engine bay- flat black
Interior- black or white
JUST started it the other night so I don't have much done yet.
Motor's mostly assembled just waiting on paint to dry..
Chassis so far:

body: lines scribed and primed
http://i382.photobucket.com/albums/oo262/wolf9599/model%20stuff/IMG_3152.jpg
Now I'm not sure how I'm going to do all the chrome trim along the body/windows. All my tape jobs have been pretty rough lately and I dont want huge silver splotches on the side of the car along the trim that runs the length of the car. any tips? thanks.

Hi, after the body colour has dried thoroughly, use some Bare Metal Foil, or at the very last minute of the car being complete, use some Tamiya masking tape along the chrome trim, and spray with some light coats of chrome spray, that way the paint won't be damaged by any handling.

I'm not that huge of an interior guy so I kept it simple with this one. all white upholstery.

Vinyl top is sprayed. waiting on the underside to dry before I can tape her off for paint.

horrible coverage. you can still see stuff underneath it. and it's not covering the hard edges
