2006 LS V8 Heated/Cooled Seats
I am having the same problem as most others where the heated seat function comes on for 30 seconds and turns off. (oddly, position 2 stays on but obviously does not get as warm)
Where is the seat filter located and how do I replace it? Where is the best source for purchasing a new one?
Thanks.

Reach under and behind the seat and you can't miss it. It's round and about the size of the peanut can lid. It twists off.
I get mine from Max at Chapman Ford.
While it may be the filer (and yours certainly needs to be changed) it is more likely to be either crushed ducts under the seat bottom cushion or disconnected ducts to the seat back.
Turn the seat on with no one sitting in it. If it stays on that way, you probably have crushed ducts.

I just blow the filter out with can air then rinse it out with water. You may have to look the first time to find it like joegr said but after that you can do it by feel, yep crushed duct.
