Bought this kit a while back and was really looking forward to making this. Turned into a bit of a pig in the end with problem after problem. the shell on this car was more twisted than an old man chewing on a humbug. I tried to straighten the shell but even heating and cooling it just made the a-pillars brittle.
Eventually i had to succumb and just buld the car and thought i would spray a brighter blue so it was different to all the normal grey ones kicking about. I bought some tamiya racing white paint for the interior and for some reason this just gone on thick and horrible so i had to flock the carpets to hide some of this. The seat detailing then i cocked up a bit too.
I cracked on though and its now pretty much finished.
Its not perfect but i'm relatively ok with the final result and like the contrast across the car.

And finally my small collection of skylines building, i like looking at them to see how shite they were and the progression i'm making with peoples help here. r35 and some of the older ones next i think.

nice save! it's not too bad until you look at the driver's a pillar. Those wheels look pretty nice. Veilside wheels that came with the kit?

Yeah A pillar is disgusting on that particular kit.
The wheels are the standard ones but i thought i would get the oven cleaner on them and deliver a bit of colour into the rims.
