My display is always 30%-40% at 5k miles. I found out that if you hold the sel/reset until the display 1st flashes it will display the items due for service along with %. My 2010 was in for its 4th change at 19.5k and while the olm still read 100% I pressed it for the 10 seconds and it flashed 100% and A12 which is what would be due at next service = oil change minus filter ( I use new filter each time btw) air & cabin filters and tire rotation. I plan on checking each time to see when it says to perform the ATF service (though I will be doing one every 25k miles)
Just thought I would share this.

You mean it shows the percentage of the other items that need to be serviced? I actually wonder at which intervals it tells you to do the tire rotation. I'm about to do it since it's it's been almost 6000k since the last time I rotated the tires, but I still don't see the service code on there.

I just checked it again at 50% and it still reads A12. ( I did not expect anything different)
A = oil change no filter (dealer uses a filter each change)
B = oil change with filter
1 = Tire rotation
2 = Engine Air and Cabin filters
I rotate tires every 5k miles.
I will add the others later.

Oh yeah, I knew those, I just thought there was a way to see the percentages for them as well. Btw, how does the oil life indicator work for you against the mileage? It's been about 5500k since the last oil change for me(i know, overdue) but the indicator still reads 20% and everyone recommends to change it at <15%. I think it looks at your driving habits and calculates it according to that. It's actually my first car with a service indicator and I'm still kinda playing with it I guess.

I would say what ever the mm calls for would be due at the time of oil change.
I don't use the mm I have my own schedule. When my odo increments by 5k I still show 30%-40%. I just want to see what it calls for, and when. This is a way to view it.
My schedule is... oil change, tire rotation and inspection every 5k, air filter,cabin filter & atf drain and refill every 25k. Brake fluid every 3 years.
