Where is the oil pressure sensor located on a 4.7 L engine? I have a 2002 Durango 4x4 and the gauge does not move like it did for the past 8+ years. It stays right on the upper mark for the safe range.

No offense to Tempfixit, but that pictorial is not for the 4.7 engine.
The pic shows a distributor which the 4.7 motor does not have. The oil sender for the 4.7 screws into the block right next to oil filter which is on the front left side of the engine.
I assume the pic is possibly from the older 5.2/5.9 motor.
