My 99 Avalon air bag warning light is flashing...codes say it may be the sensors...but the mech thinks it may be bad connections... how do you get to the front sensors? and any help would be grately appreciated...

I believe the front sensors are located behind the bumper, one on each bumper support rail, sort of next to the radiator. Each has a connector. I think you get to them most easily through the area holding the headlights, after you remove the headlights.

I believe that there is another sensor behind the front console box or lower panel (under steering column) in the interior. To access that one, you have to remove the lower instrument panel and undercover, lower panel, upper console panel, front console box, cowl side trim (by right foot), front door scuff plate, and rear console box. The interior sensor is held on by four bolts. Two on each side.

I haven't seen your car, but this is my knowledge of other Avalons.
