Pirelli Scorpions feel mushy

My new Pirelli Scorpion AT's...265 70 E's...feel like they are made of baloon rubber. I have read every review I can find, but they vary so much it's hard to tell what the problem is. I'd like to know what experience any of you have had with them on your burbs or trucks. Compared to my "Big O" similar tires on my '96 burb they are so different I don't even feel safe on them.

I thought it might be my suspension or steering but it's all been checked and has new components now. So, are these just crappy made tires? Should I go back to DT and have them swapped?

If they are that bad take it back for sure.
And tell them you have a saftey issue with them.
If you have not drove it much.
Most dealers and tire places will give you a good exchange deal on the tires you want or like.
