Difference between Denso and Keihin trans solenoids?

I have a 02 Accord, 4 cyl, LX sedan, with a BAXA auto trans. I am rebuilding the trans and am thinking about replacing the solenoids A and B. On the Honda site, looking at the AT-SENSOR - SOLENOID, it shows under illustration 12 and 13, that there is solenoid A by Keihin and a solenoid A by Denso. THere is about a $60 difference on that one. I called the local dealer, they said there is no reference to what the difference is and it is probably they changed brands during production and that either one should work. I called another dealer, they had no idea. Trying to find out for sure if it matters or not. For both solenoids A & B, there is about a $100 difference between Keihin and Denso. Anyone know the difference?

From what I have found, Denso is made in China, Keihin looks to be made in Japan.

Not 100% certain though, just checking around on the two companies. Maybe that is why one costs less than the other.

Honestly though, if the dealer is selling either one as a replacement, then I would think you will be fine either way.

I am planning on replacing the solenoids. The linear and lock-up solenoids are out of range on the ohm readings. Do the speed sensors go out or do they normally last? Both speed sensors are about $150 if they need replacing.

From what I am seeing it wil be around $350 to replace all of the solenoids. A rebuild kit is about $200. Trans fluid around $50. So it will run about $600 with me doing it, a far cry from what a shop would charge.

My oldest daughter had a 97 accord and I rebuilt her trans several years ago. It was actually not too bad. Just have to keep things in order. Hopefully this 02 trans (BAXA) is similar to the 97 one. I am going to start taking it apart tomorrow or Thursday night....

Speed sensors should be fine.
