boost gone bad, 98 Forester

Cables to boost vehicle ended up getting connected wrong.Vehicle now does not want to crank over.Would there be fusable links or just some blown fuses that would protect the computer and electrical system from such an incident?Any idea where these could be??Assistance would be greatly appreciated.Thanks.

Is there visible damage to the battery itself from the faulty jump? Have you tried a new battery regardless? What does happen when you try to turn it over?

Found out that the main fuse blew and that is all that happened.Replaced the fuse and everything works.I was prettty lucky that the computer did not fry!Thanks for the help.
