Check the fuse. If the blinkers light up but don't flash then try replacing the flasher. It is the cylindrical silver canister thing located either 1) on the fuse panel. Or 2) on a clip attatched to the steering column above the drivers right leg. Or 3) attatched to a clip up behind the ash tray. Or if the blinkers don't light up at all, try looking for loose-corroded & disconnected black wires...They should have a round eyelet and the eyelet should be bolted to the inner fender and/or radiator core support....If that doesn't work, then check to be sure the wires from the blinker stalk are plugged into the harness under the dash above the right side of the steering column. I think the wires are a yellow and a dark blue and a light blue....look for a long flat plug with ...like...9 or 10 wires it's clipped to the upper right side of the steering column....if that doesn't work.....let me think a bit more.

As a side note...if your blinkers are not working I assume the brake lights are not working either...yes??? No???

My break light do work. When I pull the light switch my outside lights turn on and when u break as well. They flash when I turn on the hazard light but when I flick on the left or right signal nothing happens. I just need some help.

Start looking at the signal switch. The wiring to the switch is probably O.K. if both brake lamps work normally. The same flasher is used for both left and right, so it doesn't leave much else.
I had a '72 do something similar, but the brake light didn't work either. It ended up as a bad connection in the flat pack connector at the base of the steering column. Yours should be easier.

Thanks I'm going to check that out. Do you happen to know on the flat connecter which color cords or where they should be located

under dash...top right side of the steering column....the right blinker is dark blue and for the Left blinker the wire color will be light blue.

Oh, and I forgot to mention that the blinker wires on the steering column that operate the back blinkers are......yellow=left rear blinker.....and the green wire goes to the rear right blinker.
As a side note, I used to have a 73 ss it had a 400cid engine....cracked blockthough
