Hello all! I'm new to this forum but I think i'll like it here. People are very nice and welcoming. ahaha anyways, I was wondering if there were any places that offer classes or know how. I've searched a few trade schools but i was wondering if these trade schools allowed you to stow a car of your choice and work on it alongside with the coursework and they would help you learn and fix the car. If there are that would be awesome.

I'm pretty much just looking for a person to help me learn about cars. My goal is to fix up a car I can find for cheap and make it nice and new again. I want my hard work to show in the vehicle. I'd rather have that than drive the car that was given to me by my parents. .___. ahaha

responses would be great :iceslolan

Vocational/technical schools usually do. When I started in the biz, I took a course at one and everyone had a car stowed there.

If you are looking to do this as a career I would recommend a school. Here is a list of schools. Collision Repair Technology (http://www.collisionblast.com/author/school-search/) Let us know if this helps. Thanks!

Gwinnett Tech 5150 Sugarloaf Parkway, Lawrenceville - (770) 962-7580

This one is highly recommended in your area...most will take on project vehicles, as long as the owner provides the parts. You would have to get on waiting list I'm sure.

Good luck :iceslolan

You might also want to look into ASE certification if you plan to pursue this as a career choice. Check out the ASE (https://ase.com/home.aspx) website for more information.
