What is the ideal time interval to go for a car servicing?

You will get different replies, but the best thing to follow is the owners manual. Also it's not a bad idea to get the vehicle inspected by an expert every 3 months.

What's the most easily forgotten service, that you really can not afford to forget?

Engine oil/filter
Transmission oil/filter
Timing belt
Tires
Brakes
Air/fuel filters
Battery
Bad H2O sensor
Contaminated MAF sensor
Contaminated coolant
Contaminated brake fluid
Contaminated Power steering fluid

We really can't afford not paying for regular service, because of the rising cost of car payments, towing, parts, and repair bills.
Intervals = Depends of Age + mileage
It's probably best to stay with Manufactures recommended not a Salesman.
