I currently have a 1997 EX 4x4 with the following codes:
P0122 Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
P0101 Mass or Volume Air Flow Circuit Range/Performance
P1624 MIL Request Signal From TCM To ECM
P0750 Shift Solenoid A
Any suggestions?

1624 and 750 are tied together....check transmission connector.
About the sensors, ground/5vfeed problems due to wiring/plugs are common. DO you actually have symptoms impairing the driving of the car? This car is a happy code thrower.....clrae codes and see what time it takes for them to come again.

Have cleared the codes about 3 times now. The codes come back within about 20 miles of driving. Last time I did this, drove around another 25 miles and the check engine light went off for about 12 miles and then the light came on again. Kind of hard to drive the car now due to the transmission is failing to shift.

All of thsose could be caused by the tps. The maf is checked against throttle position and engine rpm. If one o those aren't right the pcm could think the maf isn't reporting proper airflow. Make sure everything between the maf and cylinder head is tight and not leaking. The little plastic dude on the back o the intake on top o the valve cover is a good target as well as the flexible parts of the intake ductwork. It is also possible that incorrect throttle position could cause trouble with the trans as well.
