I found some old threads from 2003 about this kit. I may be able to get my hands on a 1/16 LM kit. Is there ANY of these photo-etch kits out there I would really love to have it for the model.

If anyone knows anything about this I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

It is gonna be tough since 1/16 is an odd ratio.

Try this ebay seller: http://myworld.ebay.com/scaledetails/

I remember seeing him selling a combo 1/16 photoetch set for 1/16 F40 and Testarossa. If I remember correctly...

Here is a picture of his Testarossa metal engine and PE set.

I actually forgot that I have a set. It is indeed a combo set for Testarossa and F40. There may be parts usable for F40 LM. Here is the pic.

is that 1/16 or 1/12 ? I have that exact photoetch kit for the 1/12 testarossa/f40

It says 1/16 on the instruction. Now I'm really not sure... It does seem a little too small for 1/12.

its probably the 1/16 then. The 1/12 I have are useless, they are way to big for the 1/12 testarossa. When I asked Scale Details about it, they said the Revell kit was not accurate 1/12, but that their photoetch kit was. why make it if it doesnt fit? I just let it go.

I have this same set in 1/24 scale, very little fits the Tamiya f40 or Testarossa'
I beleive the original artwork was developed for the 1/8 scale Pocher kits, then simply reduced for the smaller scales.

I think the same set is available in 1/8, 1/12, 1/16 and 1/24.

Dan, that sounds about right, considering the company that makes it focuses 95% of their product on Pocher.

bummer dude
