My truck will idle for the most part, when sitting still. When I am shifting (up or down) it wants to stall. It runs normal when on the highway, and no other signs of trouble. When it does stall, it doesnt sputter or anything, it just stalls out, and will restart no problem. Any suggestions on what to look for? I need a starting point. Thanks in advance.

I've read of carbon & dirt getting on the throttle blades and causing problems. Cleaning them with carburetor cleaner has helped some folks.
Sometimes an Idle Air Control valve (IAC) will get sticky and be slow to respond to the computer's commands. Carburetor cleaner cleans these up too.
