the only XJ kit that I know of is a white metal kit from K&R Replicas (http://www.kandrreplicas.co.uk/kar2427.html).

Politoys made a 4 door diecast in 1/24-25. Provence Moulage made some nice kits of the racing version in 1/43rd years ago. They are on ebay sometimes.

Here you can find it, but I would not pay that sum for this class of die cast:

very few coupè were made. Think the main part lived in Uk, also considering the high luxury level of the car.She come before the big Mercs 500 SEC or BMW 635 csi...so a toy for few rich people.
I've never seen a 2 door xj down here in Italy.

They only brought the 4 door version to the USA also. It was known to be a maintanance nightmare mainly due to electrics, but with many other problems. Good old British Leyland.

OH YES!!!!
I have been wanting to do the white/blue racing car for years now, but apart from 1/43 limited run resin kits, no 1/24 or 1/25 scale models have been produced for this car, which have made my mind to try and scrachtbuilt a body/interior and do it as a curbside model in the future!!
Must add that I had the previlege and pleasure to drove one of these quite some time ago,The owner of the company I work for had one of these, I was in charge of "the manteinace trip" usually to the Jaguar repair shop!! it was the 12 cylinder type, was a beutiful car and quite powerfull...when it was working properly!!!.....one of the details of the car that I loved was the fuel tank caps in each side of the car!!! When you opened the engine hood, it was a little "scary" the amount of lines, hoses, clamps and "electric boxes" for a car of this vintage.

eheh..yes that was the typical Jaguar style of the time.Engine bay is scary if u look at modern cars..eheh.
2 doors coupè are very nice cars, really elegant also after 50 yrs.It is surely an istant classic.
Unfortunately the die-cast to be used as base are old models,4 doors only, and I see nearly all quite pricey today (probably for vintage). Will be very hard to work on it and keep it to today quality standard.
The Big Cat remains impressive (seems a prehistoric bmw m3e46).Dunno really the sort of the car used in the tv serie.

Well I just made an attempt to do a scrachtbuilt body of the Broadspeed racing version of this Jaguar car in 1/25 scale, I think it came OK,not perfect but OK..I hope!!.....like Murphys law....I am pretty sure some one will do a resin kit in 1/25 scale now!!
Do anyone knows if the racing wheels used in this car are available in scale....in fact I would be interested in the wheels used in the "Steed car" of the New Avengers series....those look quite nice to!

Hasegawa's XJS kit might be a suitable donor, as the XJS was essentially a rebodied XJ12.
