i have a 98 blazer 4x4 that needs wheel bearings..i picked up the parts today but figured id ask some advice and for some tips before i start tomorrow.
ive read i need either a 35mm or 36mm socket for the axle shaft nut..which one is right?
what are the torque specs for the axle nut and for the 3 back bolts on the hub?
will i need a puller to remove the old assembly? if so what kind?
thanks in advance

I had to get both 35 and 36 mm, believe it or not one side the 35 mm fit better, the other side 36 was better. Strange, huh? And i didn't use a puller, i just used a block of wood and a Big Hammer and banged the cv axle shaft out of the bearing, you should have some play behind it. Once you do that, just loosen the bolts holding the bearing in, if i remember correctly. My advice: buy a chilton manual! It helps greatly!
