03 Altima high rev at idle, park

One day i accelerated really fast to beat a red light. After that the engine was revving a little higher than normal at idle, in park. This has happened before and it went back to normal after a few weeks. Is there anything i can do to put it back to normal right away?

Everything is back to normal. No one replied but i would still like to know why this happens.
