I read Alex Kustov's leather turorial, but since I am doing an MFH GTO, and would like to add real denim interior, what do I have to do?

Find 1:24 scale denim....or, well, a lookalike fabric :-)

I'd say the denim texture on real fabric is too strong and will ruin the effort. On the other hand....was the blue fabric one sees in GTOs denim? Is that true to the originals or fitted afterwards during "restorations"...?

Jay for what I know it wasn't really denim (to me denim= blue jeans fabric like diesel or levis), it was the strong blue textile used on mechanic's suits. Eventually this textile wouldn't have any appreciable texture visible in 1/24, but a flat blue will be weathered to show a "factory new" or one abused look.

I used Wright's Bondex Adhesive Nylon Patch which just looked "right" to me in both color and texture.

Was very easy to use, inexpensive and didn't look out of scale as with other fabrics.

It applied well with small amounts of super glue to hold it down at difficult curves and seams.

You can buy it at most super stores, fabric stores or online. . .
