Revell-Monogram Acura Integra Type R

Model: 1/25 Revell-Monogram Acura Integra Type R
My Previous Experience: None
Pro's:
This was my first model. That said, I am quite pleased with it. The engine
detail is excellent with lots of hoses and pipes. The suspension and
underside detail is nice. There are lots of wheel types and body kits
options.
Con's:
The models parts fit together nicely, but many of the peices were either too
thick or too thin. Also, the instructions are more than a little vague in
some areas. For example, the placement of the rear windshield wiper. And the
attachment of the wheels so that they will roll. Other than that, the model
seemed to work well.
Modifications:
I lowered the car by modifying the suspension. It was a little
tricky, but I think it came out well. I also painted the ludicrously chrome
wheels. I believe it was a metallic paint called Burnt Iron. There were lots
of large decals like flames and several other gaudy decals. I stayed away
from them. My motto is: "If it doesn't look like it should on the real thing,
it's aftermarket!"
Summary: Easy, cheap and lots of options. Thumbs up!
