1/24 Initial D EG6 Civic SIR II About the kit: A Hasegawa Civic VTI/ETI model converted to SIR II spec. Being the only available 1/24 plastic model of the 5th generation Civic, I must complain about the simple underbody details. Clear parts fit was not 100% and the a pillar breaks very easily.
Construction: A rather simple build as it is a curb side kit. All but the clear parts fit perfectly. Lip is entirly molded with putty to replicate Mugen's Civic from lip spoiler. Wheels are from Aoshima's Mugen Accord Wagon. Decals are printed off the computer.
Final thoughts: A quick, simple built. The level of detail is acceptable. Overall a well tooled kit recommanded for beginners.
