1/24 Tamiya Pennzoil Nismo GT-R (R34)

1/24 Tamiya Pennzoil Nismo GT-R (R34)
Victorious at the 1998 All Japan GT Championships, the Skyline was adorned in Pennzoil Nismo's trademark black lettering on a bright yellow base. As the defending champs in 1999, Pennzoil Nismo brought out a new machine, the Nissan Skyline GT-R (R34). Except for the roof, the entire body was constructed of carbon, and fit with a sleek rear wing. It's powerplant consists of the RB26DETT 6 Cylinder DOHC twin turbo engine, which displaces 2708cc. This car went on to win the 1999 JGTC championship.
The option is given of either painting the body in TS Pearl Yellow or TS-16 Yellow, I choose to go with the pearl yellow. This colour came out looking very sharp and would look even better with a clear coat and polish before decaling. The original car was painted in the pearl yellow with black lettering scheme.
The majority of the black sections on this car are decals but there are a few places that get painted instead of decaled, this includes the bottom section of the front bar (that would be a pain in the butt to decal.)
