The model it self is another great kit from Tamiya. Nice clear instructions and easy to follow.

Has good engine detail and all parts are well made.

Bit time consuming having to paint the front of the firewall and engine in TS42 (light gun metal) just so that the roll bars are all the same colour as the roll cage.

The crash bars are molded into the front of the firewall so a bit of masking and time is spent just on that alone.

The fire wall did take a bit of mucking around to get it to set down nice and even and correctly.

The roll cage assembly can be a bit tricky as there are a few parts that take a bit of time to get right. Once together the detail is awesome. You could spend a lot of time adding extra detail if you wanted to.

The wheels are my favorite. Tamiya have done a excellent job in reproducing the real race car ones.

The body comes in 11 pieces (body/2 side panels/front and rear bumper/2 spoiler wings for the front/bonnet and a 3 piece wing. All are painted gloss black(TS14). Rear wing semi-gloss.

My first worry with the kit was how the side panels would fit to the body, would there be gaps etc. Well there was none, so the body was all painted separate. Decals are easy enough to get on, no major worries there.

Overall another great kit to add to the collection.

The car sits really well and has a nice aggressive look to it.
