Tamiya Subaru Impreza WRX STi 1/24 Sports Car Series No.231 The kit was one of the first by Tamiya in their effort to make some of there kits easier to build. The chassis is all molded as one part which makes assembly easy... but a bit of a pain to paint. Most of the kit was built straight from the box. Body colour is done in Tamiya TS50 Mica blue. The most notable change to the appearance is the new rims and tyres. These were supplied by Dan (Guiddy), so a big thanks goes to him for them. The chassis was cut in places to allow the car to be lowered and small bushes were made to allow for the different type of rims. These were glued slightly offset to allow for even more of a lowered look. The windows were tinted on the back doors using proper car window tint cut to size. SUMMARY If you haven't got one...
