1/25 Revell/Monogram NEC Funny Car This was my first attempt at building a Funny Car. The kit is by Revell/Monagram. The kit is brilliant for the detail of the car but needs a lot of work sanding/filing etc of parts to get a good job done. The chassis is mostly one piece and they can be twisted/bent which then needs straightening which takes time to get right. Wheels are a pain to get right due to very heavy molding lines. The amount of aftermarket stuff you could buy is endless for this type of kit. You could spent forever detailing the engines of these. The body needed a lot of time spent on it as it has a lot of molding lines. All door/bonnet lines were filled and sanded to give it a cleaner look. Was painted in Tamiya white/blue. Decals were not bad for a Revell kit. Back
