1/25 Revell 1941 Willys Street Rod I wanted to do a street rod with a blown engine and wide slicks when this kit came out. It was a great kit, with excellent fit and detail. I basically built it box stock except for brake lines and engine wiring. The finish was done with all duplicolor laquers, and the color on top actually fades from a dark cranberry in the front to a dark metallic blue in the back. The graphics were masked off and then sprayed with yellow and red lacquer. I actually sprayed this one on a rainy day, and it "clouded" the clear when I applied it. In fact, the entire body looked light gray after a day or so. Eventually it cleared up and I was able to rub it out, and it turned out to be a decent finish. Back
