Subaru WRX STi Ah, the arrival of Gran Turismo 3, and a whole new wave of modelling! This was the first car inspired by the game, and a copy of my 5th car purchased in GT3! A simplified kit by Tamiya, which I did not agree with! It made the build harder in a way, as much masking was needed to spray all the molded in detail! The rear lights are a very tight fit, as were the side repeaters. But all that was forgotten when it was finished and I am very pleased with the results! The metal badges and exhaust being of special note! It was built box stock, using automotive acrylic from a can, and then cut back using Autoglym compound. All my models are then polished using Tamiya polish. The car has a real computer console feel about it, the pink badges and trim screaming 'PlayStation' all the way! Back
