1/24 Fujimi Toyota MR2 Turbo (SW20) This is a Fujimi kit of the SW20 MR2 turbo. It went together without any major fusses and is a good fun build out of the box. This kit is my first ever custom model. The front bodykit was constructed by using the original rear spoiler chopped in half, glued onto the bumper and blended in with putty and lots of sanding. The rear GT wing was scratchbuilt. The sideskirts are styrene sheet and the exhausts are aluminum tubing. The model was painted with grey primer and Maranello Red basecoat from duplicolor, then top coated with tamiya italian red. It was then rubbed out with toothpaste and polished with kitten liquid polishing wax. Panel lines done with a .05 art pen. The Red Devil later received improved GT wing stays. Back
