Buick Park Avenue headlight problem
Hi,
an other problem( no crank problem solved) related to head lights, which has been long time. I replaced the non functioning dimmer switch located in steering column, but still I havenīt hi beams. Low beams are ok. I get 12v from dimmer switch wires measured from the big connector under the dash for low and hi beams, the fuses are ok under dash fuse box as well as under hood fuse center. I canīt get 12 v to green wire for hi beam near to lamp. Could you please help me to check the wiring and relays etc. related to hi beam. I have not an good and accurate wiring diagram to check the things. BR, Pentti |

Get a wiring diagram on autozone.com, register, go to repair guides.

Hi,
And thanks for your help maxwedge! Actually, the problem was the corroded contacts in the head lights. Multimeter indicated 12 v for the bulbs measured from the additional relay, but the selfmade fuse system after the relay didn' t serve correct. The new problem for me... But, i have an additional problem with Abs system. When the problems will stop, who knows.... I will start the new thread concerning abs problem. But, thanks again maxwedge!!!! Br, Pentti |
