need help radio speakers wont work

I have a 1991 bmw 735i i put in the code for the radio but it seems that the speakers arent working. You can here sound from the back two speakers but the front there is nothing. The volume is very low also is there a seperat code for the speakers or amp. PLease help!!!!!!!!!!:banghead:

hey, i have a 1991 735i also and when i bought my car just about 2 weeks ago, i had entered the code and nothing worked. It took me a few trys to get it working and one day it just clicked for some reason. keep trying the code to see if it will register the front speakers, but the only thing i can think after that is there may be a short or something wrong with the speakers. check it out and let me know what happens.

I had just installed a sony stereo in my car and i got all the power to the new aftermarket head unit but hooking up the speakers r a no go. so im sorta on the same boat as you are.
