because the compression is high on the type r i know turbo is ill advised more so than not. this question goes for any engine, not just the b18c5. ive only heard that all motor is more dependable. just searching for clarity. im planning on having my 95 civic ex be my racing and dependable car, which i also know isnt advised. but im not looking for a 10 second car or anything. just something that will surprise the hell out of most people out here (visalia...fresno area) coming from my coupe.
on the type r, if i kept it all motor, not stock, whats the probablity that i will come across engine damage compared to something with lower compression, lets say a gsr engine also all motor?
i greatly appreciate your help!

Cheap/Fast/Reliable..... You can only pick two.... and anytime you get into performance the maintainence cost will go up and be more frequent.. make sure you have the funds to support this before doing any major mods....

As far as keeping it reliable... do the required maintainence and youll be fine
