Does any one have any suggestions on lowering my 79 B.
I have been looking at victoria british catalogue and they sell:
1. lowered coil springs 480lb
2. rebound buffer set- short
3. lowered rear leaf spring set
or special tuning rally leaf springs
1 & 3 lower the car 1 inch
thanks in advance

Moss sells a 480 front spring. I would install a lowering blocks in the rear. You can buy the kit from Moss or fabricate your own kit. Most people saw off the existing bump stops. See the Moss parts at.

thanks for the quick reply Clifton
If I lower the car by an inch can I put on 15 inch rims or do I have to keep the 14's. Do I have to be concerned about the offset or is it standard. I am thinking about the minilites
thanks

If you've done this conversion...or even if not...forget the crappy rubber rebound buffers. Search out Brokenheartstudio on Ebay and buy his custom made rebound straps that don't split the first few times they are used. I think they're far less $$ than the rubber ones, too.
