Engine Help!

Hey guys i know this comes up alot but im in a tight spot right now i was suppossed to be getting a b16a motor from a guy and it turned out to be a scam and im out almost a grand and now my 93 civic ex (which im pretty sure has a D16 motor in it with a 5 speed) has about 193000 miles on it and i think needs rings.Should i try and repair the motor in mine now or just drive it till its dead and hope i have money to put into a new motor like i said i got riped off and im really low on money. Try to get your money back!

How is your car running now? If its running good, just keep it that way. Maintain it and be patient. It took me atleast 2 years to modify my old Crx Si the way I want it.
